FOND Farewell
In June 2019, Teresa Todd and Joseph Stables from Financial Management Services were honored for their many years of service to the University of California at a ceremony held in Weyburn Terrace. Campus and department colleagues were in attendance to share fond memories and wish them both well in their retirements. Teresa and Joe were exemplars of UCLA’s True Bruin Values https://truebruin.ucla.edu/ each and every day. We wish Teresa and Joe the best of luck in the next phase of their lives and hope that they will stay in touch as they will be greatly missed!

...and Welcome
We are proud to introduce two new employees, Vichelle Jose and Vanessa Alvarado, who have joined our team of analysts in Financial Management Services to support the team and handle newly re-aligned responsibilities and client assignments. Vichelle and Vanessa both previously worked in other campus departments. We are excited to have them join our team!
Vichelle Jose began her professional career as a Budget Analyst at UCLA Lab School after graduating from UCLA. While at the Lab School, Vichelle managed endowment, gift, business contract, sales and service funds in addition to budgetary proposals. In 2018, she transitioned to a Senior Financial Analyst position at UCLA Extension. In addition to her job responsibilities, Vichelle has participated in the UCLA Professional Development Program and currently serves as Treasurer for the UCLA Administrative Management Group. As a new member of the Financial Management Services team, she is most looking forward to working with and learning from the diverse client groups in Administration.
Vanessa Alvarado began her professional career as an Administrative Specialist at Extramural Fund Management (EFM) after graduating from UCLA. She quickly ascended to Accountant 1 and then Accountant 2 in the same department, before joining Financial Management Services as a Senior Financial Analyst. While at EFM she assisted in closing federal, state, and private awards while ensuring compliance policies established by the department were being met. Vanessa is intrigued by the complexities of the different departments at UCLA Administration and is excited to assist her clients as a financial resource to ensure departmental objectives are achieved.
